I heard that that's pretty common anyway - when you do small things and don't realize how much it can impact another person.

[ so far, with the exception of his outburst from last week, majima has known senri to be boisterous, cheerful, and outspoken. that makes this shift in tone so striking to him—so much so that he's left speechless by this sincere show of thanks.

I can see that too, though. I don't think that one way or the other is really better - I'm just a commoner at a rich kid's school, so even if I'm grateful for the opportunity, sometimes I miss people with common sense...

Because I'm trying to help someone, but if I lie to Majima-san, then that means I'd make Majima-san have to repeat my lie.

But if I tell Majima-san the truth, I'm scared I won't be able to help the person I want to help.

So I've been letting people believe what they want, and not telling anyone otherwise if they're wrong.
