To be honest, I think your idea is going to fall flat. If it was as simple as "join together", presumably the gods would've done it by now instead of holding this free-for-all.
Not to mention that Ruin and the others would try to torpedo it, all else aside. Numbers are't entirely on your side here just yet.
It's worth asking, if nothing else. I don't want to lose out on chance for something easier just because no one bothered to see. A lot of these gods are peaceful so...
