Not great. I went to Cunning because Bambi was worried.... but if gods get to pick who they remove from the game if they get voted for, it doesn't look great for me.

I might have to go sooner than I thought.

You don't get along with Great Cunning?

[usogi]

... I think he goes out of his way not to reach out to other people.

But the way that I play this game - it's all about trying to make connections.

So we butt heads a little....

That doesn't necessarily mean he'll choose you out of his followers if he's wrongfully convicted. Has he forbidden you from making these connections?

[usogi]

No, but I think he can tell I'm not all that loyal to him either - our views don't really match up.

Though he did tell me... it sounds like that the followers have to match the ideals of their gods, or else the world that the god creates might not look as perfect.

Then our choices affect more than just who takes leadership—the world that the winning god creates, too? I . . . Isn't this method too dependent on an outside party?

[usogi]

Well... that's how they decided to play it. So that we decide what the world should look like, based on how they appeal to us.

I get it but... well. It's pretty taxing.

[nosediving]

It is a heavy burden on someone as young as you. Will you defect to another great god next week?

[usogi]

Probably... I like Cunning, but if he gets voted for, he'd probably try to get rid of me first I think.

I have to look out for myself - but I did try to get along with him at least.

[nosediving]

Right. What matters is that an effort was made, and it's important that you take care of yourself here. People are really different: There will always be someone you don't get along with right away.

I guess so... It's still annoying - but I'll try to take care of it.

I'm just trying to find the other followers of gods that I don't know too...

Once you do, what are you going to do with that knowledge?

I'm going to try to get people to work together.

But not the same way Yu-kun did. If all we do is try to switch to one god to end the game early, without caring about their world, the contest results will be voided and they'll have to do this all over again with another batch of people. I can't let that happen.

... but if I can convince people to try to follow one responsible god at the end, because they really believe in them, and not just for the numbers - I think I can help as many people get their wish as possible.

If that time ever comes, which great god will you gather everyone under?

.... Piety sounds popular, because a lot of people think he's the most suited to be a responsible leader.

But of the worlds I like - there's actually a couple. Love, Beauty, Cheri, Merriment, Justice...

Does that mean you don't feel the same way about Great Piety's vision for the world?

Oh, I do! I agree that I like his world of balance a lot, really. It's the easiest for me to advertise too, to try to convince others to join him.

But... I support who I support. It's been hard for me to ever pick one god over the others, because a lot of them are my friends.

. . . Being made to choose one over the others must be difficult. Knowing that you care this much, though, I don't think the great gods you decide not to choose in the end will be angry with you.

[usogi]

.... I don't think so either. They all want to win, but some gods have said they're alright with their followers going to someone else in the final week if it means that they get their wishes granted.
