[He continues with the sword for a bit, but then finally, just... gives up for now. He's smart, though not as miraculous with technology as, say, Ray, or Entrapta. He parts all of the components and wraps what he can up, pushing it out of the way.

Leaning back, he turns and points across the lab at a cabinet desk on the other side. There's sheets of graph paper there, blue on one side, white on the other.]

[Taking the first paper, he slides it over the edge of the bench and tears off enough of a portion to make the paper square rather than rectangular. He discards the sliver off to the side, puts the square over, and then he does the same with the second paper.

He faces the bench, preparing, and Senri will have to scoot up beside him since they each have a paper to themselves.

For a moment, he's thoughtful. And then he makes the first fold, waiting for Senri to follow.]

There's not that many folding steps. Maybe ten or so, give or take. At the end, Senri gets uno cute rabbit, of course. Sasuke, too, from instructing.

... none of them are real, you know? They're nice for people who need to escape, who want to be tricked for a little bit into waiting for a happy ending.

I don't want to assume that something I read in a book is the same as your relationship with your mother. It doesn't feel... right. Authentic...?

I'm not sure I agree with that.

[He at least, even if not looking at Senri, sounds resigned with his fate of being alive anyway. It was always weird, longing for death, but being too stubborn to die until he could get his revenge.

And then after he got it, being too stubborn not to try to change things his way. But still craving death regardless.]
