[he doesn't look like he's about to burst out into tears, but he does look pretty frazzled. and - ]
Chuuya-san was originally with Disorder, but then he moved to Sincerity - and last week he upset Disorder so badly that Disorder punched a mirror. When the numbers changed this week, I guessed that's what that meant. I told him to be careful, but he said that he only needed to worry about if Disorder sent any of her followers after him, but I don't know if that's what happened.
[quiet aaaaaaaa intensifies]
I'm not smart enough for this - and I don't know if you already knew but....
I thought I should tell someone who might be able to use the information better than I can.
[ oh. It's apparent on Mizuki's face that this isn't what they were expecting him to come forward with at first; they're quick to chase it off, schooling their expression into something calmer as they approach him and put a hand on his shoulder. ]
Calm down -- it's okay. You don't have to do anything. Even knowing that, you couldn't have helped him.
[calming down is more easily said than done!!! but.... senri will breath in and then breath out once there's a grounding touch on his shoulder, and he looks up at mizuki, lost as he's ever been.]
... okay.
I don't... have any other information this week. Last week I had a lot from what Shiks told me but aside from Chuuya-san....
I want to help more, but I don't know how. And - there's other stuff that I can't say, but it just makes me more nervous....
It's fine. None of us have very much information. I know what it might have seemed like last week, but the truth is that I was only working off of my personal hunches.
[ they squeeze his shoulder a little bit, reassuringly. ]
To tell you the truth, I didn't really know any of them outside of Chuuya-san, myself. But that's all right. [ they can only vote on one, after all... or so Mizuki believes. ] Thank you for telling me. It helps.
[and senri laughs a little bit at that - it's not a purely happy noise, but,,]
I feel like you and Shishimaru and Ray-kun are really good at putting things together.... I don't know if I can keep up with geniuses and prodigies, but if you ever need any information, I can do my best to get it.
[ . . . ]
Um, I actually know some other stuff that I don't really know what to do with right away... If Mizuki-san is willing to listen. I don't want to give you more burden but...
I can't tell you anything about anyone else in the game because I don't want to betray their trust but... for the gods, I don't want to keep the information to myself, not when someone smarter can do better with it. I'm nervous, but I don't have answers or direction either.
[ they study his expression for a second or two; then, they release him, taking a step back. ]
I understand. [ the person who wants to trust everyone, indeed... ] I'll hear you out, Nito-kun. Let's go sit down first, though. You're making me nervous just looking at you.
[senri will return the smile as best as he can before going to sit down on the couch.... their nice little family home....]
... I've talked to six gods so far. Beauty, Sincerity, Love, Indulgence, Ambition, and Merriment - but I've asked people who've talked to the others, so I think I've got an okay picture on what all of them are like. Some gods are friends, but others really don't like each other. Disorder really hates Sincerity. Ambition is actually a really sweet girl, even if she's kind of abrasive at first - but the only gods that are nice to her are Cunning and Disorder, so she argues with everyone else.
I've heard that Piety's really good about sharing information, with a lot of detail.... but Sincerity is really nice, but didn't pay attention to a lot of details when they were deciding the game.
That sort of thing.
[and senri looks sheepish - ]
I have a lot more.... but if Mizuki-san knows anything different than I do, that'd help too. I've been trying to check what the gods are saying against each other, but also what they're telling different people....
[ Mizuki is a good listener; they watch Senri intently, committing to memory each thing he tells them. Of course, they have no way of knowing if he's lying, either - but for the time being, they have no better information to go off of. ]
No... I haven't asked the gods very much about each other. [ hmmm. ] ... In other words, it's perfectly believable that Disorder would send someone after Chuuya-san for defecting to someone they hate.
[ interesting. ]
You don't know about Ruin, Cunning or Disorder? I'm curious about those three.
No, I'm... [he shakes his head] People are trying to help me - when I'm not sure if I can do something well, so I avoid doing it because I don't want to do it wrong. I don't know if my audiences with those gods would go well. But I've heard a couple of different things, all in the same vein.
Ruin isn't that hard to get along with, actually. Apparently she's really talkative, and really passionate - and would like a world where the strong survive. Where as long as you're willing to take action, you can do whatever you want.
Disorder is temperamental? Chuuya-san told us as much - but this week apparently I think she was trying to regain her reputation. She flirts with people to try to win them over... [he sounds weirdly bitter about this] but she's also been saying that Sincerity's world doesn't sound as nice as one might initially believe, so she's trying to cast doubt on him that way.
I actually - don't know a lot about Cunning. He hasn't been in our conversations very much, probably because he doesn't come off as immediately worrying as Ruin or Disorder.
But all three of those gods - I think the other gods are pretty wary of them. They're also the ones who voted for the leader of the pantheon to be decided like this - with killing.
That's all secondhand though, so I know it might help to hear directly....
I don't want to send Mizuki-san to someone so difficult but - Uchiha gets pretty good information, and if you don't make him too angry, he's good at exchanges. He's been dealing with a lot of the gods that I don't want to. But um.... please be careful too.
[senri will pull up the long sleeve of his shirt to reveal a bruise around his wrist that circles around like someone held on too tight - it's faded a bit now, at least]
[ the bitterness is noted, but Mizuki, frankly, has no clue what to make of it... Was she flirting with that boy he likes, maybe? Hmm. It's not really that important. ]
So it was those three. That's not really a surprise, but it's good to know.
[ they're the most volatile of the traits listed, after all. Only when the topic of Sasuke is brought up does their expression change, and they look somewhat sheepish. ]
Mm... I don't think Uchiha-kun wants much to do with me. [ the bruise gets a concerned frown, however. ] Did he do that to you? Even for that chuunibyou, that's going a bit too far.
He's so rough with me, Mizuki-san. [cry] At the end of the day, I'm just a stage actor, you know?
Mm, it's not hard to make him angry - so I've been trying to deal with him myself a lot.... but I know it's probably difficult to hear all this from just me. You could ask Shishimaru too, but since we're from the same school, I know it can be hard to trust us when we could just back each other up.
I'm being honest with you, of course but - well, I know that it's hard to trust just any information that comes along too.
[ for the time being, at least, and without any better information to go on. They're not sure why Senri would single them out to feed them lies unless he's one of the killers trying to scapegoat Mizuki, which they find themself seriously doubting. ]
It'll give us a place to start tomorrow, at least. Even if we don't know about the other three, we can at least work on solving what happened to Chuuya-san. [ a beat. ] Thank you for telling me.
I know a little bit more.... but I'll try not to overload Mizuki-san with it. But if it's okay, I want to share what I find out with you. I told Majima-san that I want to tell him too, but I think the both of us aren't really cut out for thinking too hard about this kind of thing....

Nito-kun? Sorry, I was... Did you need me?
