[senri's been kind of unhappy all day - not that it's super easy to see. as far as public appearances go, he's normal. but when he thinks no one's looking his direction, he's quieter, like he's always thinking about something. he gives up on arguments a little faster - sort of like how he excused himself from taka and sasuke's conversation after finding out enough

it's only in their makeshift house that he lets himself look outright sad, flicking through his phone like it'll give him answers, but finding that there's nothing.

eventually he'll bring up the topic - ]

Have you seen Ray-kun since Saturday?

For like two seconds in the courtyard.

[ taka only noticed because he was paranoid and looking around to make sure certain gods weren't gonna jump them while they were running. ]

It didn't feel the same as it did, before Saturday.

I did something wrong, but he won't tell me what it is.

[ it's really the only thing that taka can think of. other than the reveal of his god, senri had acted fairly normally that trial.

It didn't feel like that. He felt further from me than usual.

[and for someone like senri, who's pretty good at 99% of social situations, he's struggling. taka used to be the only person he didn't get along with.]

[ taka can admit that he honestly does not know much about ray other than what's on his statue. and he doubts that he ever will, because the only reason they tend to interact is over senri.

[ taka expected senri to ask questions so he's not surprised? it was mostly that he kept yelling them while the adrenaline was still running and taka was still processing that sasuke almost burned them alive in the worst rescue attempt of all time ]

But you're not going to know for sure about Ray until he tells you.
