You get in via testing, but also there's a scouting process to make sure that there's a lot of talent pooled into each year.
No, Aimi's an idol - we're sort of the same sector, but not really? I'm a stage actor, so I do more theater performances whereas she does music and a couple of other stuff.

They figured out this new weird tech that lets you peer into dreams and put on performances inside those dreams? It's soooo weird - but if you graduate at the top of the class, you get a whole lot of perks, so we have to do well anyway.
Huh. Sounds pretty advanced. They kept tech in the orphanage pretty dated—stuff like an iPod and a Gameboy were pretty much the fanciest things I could get, and even those were hard to get a hold of.

Traveling is expensive... and I get paid well from shows, but these days it all goes straight back to making sure I can eat and keep up at the academy. But I do want to go to New York or London one day! They have really big performing scenes - Broadway and West End.
When I was a kid, I really wanted to see the Mona Lisa and the Sagrada Família. [surprise, ray is actually a giant art/architecture nerd, apparently.] Well, I guess it doesn't matter anymore, though.
