Targeted her after the trial with my ability. She made a kind of embarrassing public confession on Sunday, even if I didn't completely mean for that.

So, she's pretty pissed. So is Yu, probably.

The specification I made was: publicly confess anything she's been hiding recently. So, if I say that and she confirms that was her particular obsession, it'll prove it was my doing.

I was seeing if she'd confess to being a culprit. The fact she didn't isn't really proof that she wasn't one, but the ability works less efficiently the more specific I make it, so I kept it general to be on the safe side.

Not really. Killing a god means one less source of information for you.

It was a pretty dumb move overall, killing someone bound by oath who can grant favors and specialized in luck.

So my guess is the person who did it doesn't care about things like that, or plays the game from a different angle than info swaps.

Where I'm from, Earth was split into two dimensions way back in the past. One half would be something like your world—maybe actually your world, for all we know—where the country Japan and the like exist.

[he hopes the other earth isn't literally senri's world, though, because that'd be. bad. for reasons.]

I got the other half, though I didn't know it until a few months ago since we weren't allowed to leave the orphanage. Otherwise, you hit it on the mark: I grew up reading about what I thought was the "outside".

... I'd like to say I'm pretty informed, but in the end, all of my knowledge is purely encyclopedic. This competition's the first time I've ever met people from the "other side". [a beat.] Or domesticated creatures like dogs.
