But the most relevant is that he does not want Sasuke's wish to come true—probably because it, among other things, involves destroying their village—and made it clear that Sasuke is likely a threat to all of us and that he wouldn't begrudge anyone for killing him.

His world isn't bad - it's something I've been thinking that I've been taking for granted.

A world without war, so that innocent people don't have to suffer. I think his methods are stupid, so this lines up with that. But it sounds like ninjas go through a lot.... and considering who we've met, that lines up so far. He wants to take on everything himself, without help, because he thinks that putting other people into the equation will mean that no one ends up happy. I think he's afraid to let himself rely on people.

I don't know how to get through to him.... He's said he'll kill me, but he also warned me for being reckless in trying to help people and how that'll get me killed.

And he didn't let me drown.
