Because I didn't tell them who I was aligned with. I was trying to be nice and avoid outright lies, but then we started living together and they decided to just curse me into it instead.

And I think Ishirin-san found a loophole, so hopefully he'll be okay tomorrow. The rules say that the gods need to lose a follower, not that they need to be removed from play. So he was already going to defect.

And Beauty said that I couldn't borrow Above Suspicion for my favor - though I don't know if that's entirely true, or because he wants me to join his team so I can use his power directly. I don't think he'd lie to me, but it sounds like it's one of the rules he's less clear on....
